HOME RUN DERBY

Held annually on Friday night before the Hometown Days Fireworks Show, the Home Run Derby opens the weekend of Wiffle®Ball festivities.

Since 2007, the Derby has been held at Migley Field. Although Migley's dimensions are smaller than the other tournament fields, it hasn't always been a launching pad for the Derby. When the wind is blowing in (which has often been the case), it becomes fairly difficult to get the ball out of the yard.

However, some of the game's greatest power hitters are still able to put on a show, as balls flying out to Dunn Road are a frequent occurrence.

The winner of the Derby takes home the Golden Bat Award.

2020 Derby Champion Jared Jonkman won his fourth consecutive Golden Bat with a 15-7 finals victory over Wes Ellis.
