The Home Run Derby continued to grow in 2009, as 13 competitors swung for the fences at Migley Field. Ultimately, John Arndt prevailed by winning his second consecutive Golden Bat. It was his third overall.

 

Arndt defeated 2007 champion Scott Ebersole in the finals, 14-13.
