Despite the crazy home run numbers put up by players across the Old Republic Wiffleball League in 2012, the Hometown Days Home Run Derby was a completely different story.

 

Migley Field played as a pitcher's park on Friday night, as a strong wind out of the north kept the home run total down to a record low of 31.

 

However, Nick Arndt was able to three-peat in the event, knocking off Garrett Curless in the finals, 1-0. It was a rematch of the 2011 Derby finals.
