In a last minute decision, the finals of The Championship were moved to Migley Field in 2006. The Friendly Confines became more involved in 2007, as the Home Run Derby was held at the ballpark for the first time.

 

Scott Ebersole bested Charlie Szilagyi in the finals, 6-5 to win the event.
