The 2023 Home Run Derby saw a record output, as 484 total home runs were launched over the ivy-covered fence at Migley Field.

For the first time since 2016, a new champion was crowned. Sam Bull won the Golden Bat, ending Jared Jonkman's six year reign.

Bull knocked off Jonkman in the first round, and would go on to defeat five-time runner-up Garrett Curless in the finals.
