Despite the coronavirus pandemic and the cancellation of the Hometown Days fireworks, the 2020 Home Run Derby attracted 32 participants to Migley Field on Friday, July 24.

With the wind blowing in, it was difficult for most competitors to get the ball out of the yard. However, 14 hitters were able to record at least one home run.

The top 8 qualified for the single-elimination bracket finals.

Once again, Jared Jonkman prevailed as the champion as he defeated Wes Ellis in the finals, 15-7, to win his fourth consecutive Golden Bat award.
