20th Anniversary Celebration - Special Events and Offerings!

NEW CARLISLE - This summer, New Carlisle Hometown Days and The Wiffle®Ball Championship will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the festival's founding in 2005.

The 2025 Hometown Days festival is scheduled for Friday, July 25 through Sunday, July 27. Due to the COVID-19 cancellation in 2020, this year's anniversary also coincides with the 20th edition of the festival.

Although Wiffle®Ball continued through the pandemic - and this will be the 21st annual tournament - The Championship will be joining in on the grand celebration!

Museum Exhibit

Historic New Carlisle is running a special "Seeking Migley" exhibit all summer in their downtown museum. The exhibit celebrates the 20th Anniversary of The Championship at Hometown Days, and all things wiffle in New Carlisle.

The museum is located at 112 E. Michigan Street.

Wiffle® Kingdom

In a callback to the 2023 Championship, Hometown Days is officially renaming The Championship's complex to the Wiffle® Kingdom. The park now features five sections: Hometown Square, Memorial Park, Tiger Canyon, Tent City, and Bourissa Hills. All 25 fields have received refreshed signage, and each is named with a special connection to New Carlisle or Wiffle®Ball history.

Replacing the old "Regional" playoffs - the quadrants of the bracket will now be named after Memorial Park, Tiger Canyon, Tent City, and Bourissa Hills. Champions of those four lands will advance to Migley Field for the Hometown Cup Finals.

Golden Giveaway

Twenty Wiffle®Balls will be hidden throughout the Wiffle® Kingdom, each with a prize for those who find them! Find a ball with a golden number and return it to the Scorer's/Information Tent to redeem it for a prize.

Migley Field Authentics

In true Hometown Days fashion, Migley Field will be having a garage sale to celebrate the 20th anniversary. Take home a piece of the Friendly Confines and/or The Championship, as a collection of banners, flags, signs, and other artifacts will be available - FOR FREE - in a giveaway at Migley Field.
