HOMETOWN CUP PLAYOFFS

Sunday Bracket

48 teams advance to Sunday's Hometown Cup Playoffs.  All division winners receive a bye to the round of 32. Playoffs begin at 8:00am ET.

The final four teams will meet at Migley Field in the Hometown Cup Finals at 1:20pm ET.

SCHEDULE

Pool Play Times

All teams will play four pool play games between 10:00 am and 5:00pm EDT on Saturday, July 27. Teams should arrive to check in between 8:30am and 9:30am on Saturday morning.  There is a 45-minute time limit on pool play games.  Home team is determined by rock-paper-scissors (best of 3).

Scorecards are located at the field.  After your game, please leave clipboard at the field and return only your completed scorecard to the scorer's tent.

The top 48 qualifiers will advance to Sunday's Hometown Cup Playoffs.  Division winners will be guaranteed a bye.

FIELD MAP

Championship Complex

All games prior to the Hometown Cup Finals will be played at the New Prairie Little League complex in New Carlisle. The complex is located at Olive Elementary School and is at the south end of the Hometown Days festival at Memorial Park. The Complex consists of 20 fields.

RULES

Official Rule Book

The Championship is a slow-pitch tournament with base running. All teams are expected to read the rules prior to the start of play. Participants are required to follow the Hometown Days Sportsmanship Policy which allows The Championship to maintain its balance of competition and fun.

HOME RUN DERBY

Swing for the fences

The 15th annual Home Run Derby will kick off Championship Weekend on Friday, July 26 at 7:05pm ET. The Derby is an open competition, with registration taking place between 6:00-6:45pm. Cost is $5 to enter.

The Wiffle®Ball Championship is an official event of New Carlisle Hometown Days, Inc. Hometown Days is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing a fun-filled, family-oriented festival every July. The event weekend is a venue for many local churches, clubs, and other non-profit groups to conduct their biggest fundraisers of the year. All proceeds from The Championship help the Hometown Days committee in its effort to continue this summer tradition.
