Enter The Championship

Registration for the 2020 Championship is now open.  The Championship is scheduled to be played Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26.


Entry fee is $40 per team through June 14.  Beginning June 15, the fee increases to $60. Registration will close Sunday, July 12 or when 80 teams have entered, whichever comes first. Payment must be received with your entry to guarantee a spot in the tournament field.


Pool Play Times

All teams will play four pool play games between 10:00 am and 6:00pm EDT on Saturday, July 25. Teams should arrive to check in between 9:00am and 9:30am on Saturday morning.  There is a 45-minute time limit on pool play games. 

The top 48 qualifiers will advance to Sunday's Hometown Cup Playoffs.


Official Rule Book

The Championship is a slow-pitch tournament with base running. All teams are expected to read the rules prior to the start of play. Participants are required to follow the Hometown Days Sportsmanship Policy which allows The Championship to maintain its balance of competition and fun.


Swing for the fences

The 16th annual Home Run Derby will kick off Championship Weekend on Friday, July 24 at 7:05pm ET. The Derby is an open competition, with registration taking place between 6:00-6:45pm. Cost is $5 to enter.

Championship Complex

All games prior to the Hometown Cup Finals will be played at the New Prairie Little League complex in New Carlisle. The complex is located at Olive Elementary School and is at the south end of the Hometown Days festival at Memorial Park. The Complex consists of 20 fields.

The Wiffle®Ball Championship is an official event of New Carlisle Hometown Days, Inc. Hometown Days is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing a fun-filled, family-oriented festival every July. The event weekend is a venue for many local churches, clubs, and other non-profit groups to conduct their biggest fundraisers of the year. All proceeds from The Championship help the Hometown Days committee in its effort to continue this summer tradition.
