For the fourth consecutive year, 16 teams entered the field for the 2008 Championship, with the New Carlisle Newts repeating as Champions.

 

Four of the Newts' six victories during the weekend came by only one run, including the legendary title game against Speedy's Chickenheads.  New Carlisle defeated Speedy's, 29-28, in 7 innings in front of a packed house at Migley Field.
